Imagine I was that girl adrift in an ocean of “wannabe” writers—pages fluttering like lost sails, stories swimming in endless drafts with no shore in sight.
Each rejection felt like a rogue wave: the first publisher passed, then the second, and the third... I lost count. I spent nights staring at error‑riddled manuscripts, wondering if every word I wrote was doomed to vanish at sea.
Add a decade of struggling and little funds to spare, it wasn’t long before friends and fellow creatives started reaching out — asking me to help them write their stories, polish their books, or find the right words when they felt stuck. It lit something in me. I realized I wasn’t just writing for others — I was helping them find themselves in their words.
So, I helped a close friend polished yet another draft which finally glimmered like North Star — my first acceptance letter. My heart raced. All that turbulence, all those doubts, suddenly made sense. I’d found my guide.
My path wasn’t glamorous. I never set out to build an agency. I started with words. Before manuscripts became my world, I described random products — tire pumps, throw pillows, novelty mugs. I squeezed clarity into tight spaces, learning how every word carries weight. That training was my foundation. Then came blog posts, then edits. I learned to listen to an unfinished draft, to the tiny beat between words, to the author's heart.
What started as a freelance gig soon turned into something deeper when I began working with authors — helping them structure their ideas, polish their prose, and breathe life into their stories. After years of supporting friends and fellow writers behind the scenes, I realized: this isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am.
When the first book I helped craft finally published, the moment felt surreal. I remember sitting at my kitchen table, the spine cracking as I opened to page one. My hands trembled. I cried — part joy, part relief. I’d weathered the storm. But more importantly, I understood what it felt like to be lost at sea. One book turned into five, five turned into a dozen. Eventually, I left my full‑time job to do what I love most: shape stories that move people.
